“Duncan and Patrick have clearly fallen deeply in love with the loaf. And in this joyful volume, their passion and enthusiasm for bread in all it’s forms shines out on every page. I know from personal experience that bread-making can be a bit of a blind spot for even the keenest home cook. But there’s so much to be gained by putting your fears on one side and simply having a go. You’ll find there’s no mysterious alchemy. Just put your trust in good ingredients and Duncan and Patrick’s sound techniques, and it’ll all come good.

“This book is packed full of clear advice, cheerfully set down on how to be, if not a Master Baker, at least a successful one with a fine crust to your name.[...]
With so many ideas for breads and meals, as well as some pretty tasty photography too, The Bread Revolution will have you waving a flag at the barricades and driving back the oppressive hordes of sliced white breadism and their running dog lackeys, the subwaybunists. Power to the people, right on.”
