12/01/2018 Vacancy: Cake Baker/Pastry Chef

New Vacancy:

We have an opening at the bakery for a cake maker / pastry chef to join our team.

Core responsibilities would be the production of ambient cakes and cold desserts and patisserie for sale in our bakery. Our range currently spans from a zingy lemon polenta cake all the way through to a salted caramel bomb with eclairs, lemon meringue tarts and everything else in between.

Additional responsibilities would be working one day a week in the kitchen preparing our lunch offering and any breakfast orders we have as well as occasionally supporting the head chef for any events or catering orders.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable working independently. Perhaps you are particularly talented but want to step back from the heat of a restaurant pastry section, or perhaps you have not long completed your pastry or cheffing training at college and are an ambitious, driven and passionate individual starting off in your professional career.
